Das Graffiti Open Air ist die große, ganztägige Abschlussveranstaltung eines einjährigen Projektes in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Deutschen Roten Kreuz. Ein ganzes Jahr lang erhalten Kinder und Jugendliche in Workshops die Möglichkeit, unter Anleitung von Profis (wie z.B. Tasso), Straßenkunst und Graffiti kennenzulernen und selbst auszuprobieren. Städte, wie das brandenburgische Ludwigsfelde, konnten so neue Angebote für Kinder und Jugendliche schaffen und gleichzeitig einen deutlichen Rückgang illegaler Graffitis verzeichnen.
Das Graffiti Open Air ist die Abschlussveranstaltung für alle Teilnehmer der Workshops und alle Interessierten. Live-Musik, Hip-Hop, Streetdance, legale Spray- Performances an Autos und Wänden, Breakdance, Skating, BMX und ein Live Spraying Workshop für 50 Kids präsentieren an diesem Tag die Kultur der Straßenkunst.
