Victorine Toko di Mfuana,aufgewachsen in Spandau, ist eine original Berliner Stadtpflanze mit festen Wurzeln in ihrer Heimatstadt.

Nach 20 Jahren Bühnenerfahrung und regelmäßigen Solo-Auftritten ist Victorine von der Vorstadtghetto-Queen zur professionell singenden Salon-Diva gereift.

Ihre Vorbilder sind die „Grande Dames“ des Blues, Jazz und Popsoul: Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone und die Ladies von En Vogue. Victorine lebt musikalisch in allen Genres, die sie in ihrer Jugend und Kindheit geprägt haben, von Michael Jackson über Prince bis Hildegard Knef. Zu ihrem Repertoire gehören die Swing-, Blues- und Soulklassiker aus den USA, deutschsprachige Lieder, wie Latinoklänge und afrikanische Rhythmen, zu denen sie als Tochter eines Zaïreois eine besondere Verbindung hat.

Victorine ist eine von denen, die sich jederzeit überall hinstellen können und anfangen zu singen.
